Bishoy Azmy

Bishoy has been with Innovo from its inception and is the driving force behind Innovo’s core principle of harnessing the smartest technology and innovative sustainability practices to create positive disruption across the traditional construction and real estate sectors.

Prior to Innovo, Bishoy worked for ASGC Group, spending close to 20 years there, the last ten of which as CEO.

Bishoy’s belief in the value of continuous education and the need to keep updating an organization is demonstrated by his commitment to the ongoing improvement of employee safety and wellbeing, and his focus on having a positive impact on the communities Innovo operates in and the environment in general. All of which contributes to Innovo’s ability to continue to generate significant value for shareholders.

Ahmed Elshamy

Ahmed El Shamy was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Majid Al Futtaim – Properties in January 2023.

In his previous role as Chief Financial Officer of Majid Al Futtaim – Properties, Ahmed was responsible for the evolution of the finance function and oversaw the financial health, risk, and compliance practices. He helped deliver on business targets despite challenging market conditions, mitigated the impact of the COVD-19 pandemic and successfully executed programmes such as War on Waste and the C1500 plan.

Prior to joining Majid Al Futtaim, Ahmed was Partner and Group CFO of Qalaa Holdings, one of the Arab world’s largest private equity firms. He has also worked with Procter & Gamble, Citadel Capital, and Al Ahram Beverages and Orascom Development Holding.

Drew Goldman

Global Head of Real Estate, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA)

Drew Goldman joined The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) as Global Head of Real Estate in its Real Estate Department in October 2022. Mr Goldman is responsible, together with members of the senior management team, for guiding and implementing the Department’s strategy and overseeing its investment activities globally.

Mr Goldman joined ADIA from Deutsche Bank, where he has held various senior positions over the course of more than 20 years, most recently serving as Global Head of Investment Banking Coverage and M&A, based in New York. Prior to that, he was a Global Head of Deutsche Bank’s Real Estate Investment Banking Group from 2012 to 2019.

Prior to DB, Mr Goldman was with Kerzner International where he was responsible for Strategic Planning, Corporate Finance, and Investor Relations from 1997 to 1999. Before joining Kerzner, Drew spent five years in investment banking with Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. and Paribas Corporation. He has worked in both banking and on the client-side, gaining valuable perspective from working with a former client. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences focusing on corporate finance matters. Drew received an MA in Economics from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 1993 and a BA from Connecticut College in 1992.

Ankur Gupta

Managing Partner and Head of Asia Pacific and Middle East, Brookfield’s Real Estate Group

Ankur Gupta Managing Partner, Real Estate Ankur Gupta is a Managing Partner and Head of Asia Pacific and Middle East for Brookfield’s Real Estate Group and Country Head for Brookfield in India. In these roles, he oversees all of Brookfield’s activities in India and is responsible for investment activities and growth for Brookfield’s real estate business in Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2012, Mr. Gupta worked for a leading real estate development firm. Mr. Gupta holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

Sam Chandan is Director of the Chao-Hon Chen Institute for Global Real Estate Finance at the New York University Stern School of Business, home to the school’s applied real estate research initiatives, industry and policy engagement, and undergraduate and MBA real estate programs.

Prior to joining Stern in February 2022, he was the Larry & Klara Silverstein Chair and academic dean of the Schack Institute of Real Estate at the NYU School of Professional Studies. He is also founder of Chandan Economics, an economic advisory and data science firm serving the institutional real estate industry, a contributor to Forbes, and host of the Urban Lab on Apple Podcasts.

A Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), the Royal Society for Public Health (FRSPH), and the Real Estate Research Institute (RERI), and a contributing member of the American Society for Microbiology (ASM), his multifaceted applied research interests address real estate capital market, urban epidemiology, and the preparedness of global cities and other systemically important urban areas in managing and mitigating novel public health threats.

Prior to founding Chandan Economics, he was the global chief economist at Real Capital Analytics (RCA). During his tenure as chief economist at Reis, now part of Moody’s Analytics, he was part of the executive team that took the company public.

Rob Salomon

Robert Salomon is the Dean of Stern at NYUAD. In addition to his deanship, he is also Professor of International Management and NEC Faculty Fellow of International Management at the NYU Stern School of Business. He held previous appointments as a Visiting Professor at the IESE Business School in Spain, and as an Assistant Professor at the USC Marshall School of Business.

Robert is an award-winning scholar and educator who has been teaching and conducting research on globalization and global strategy for nearly 20 years. He has been recognized as an outstanding educator and has received more than 10 commendations for “Excellence in Teaching” at NYU Stern. He was nominated for NYU Stern Professor of the Year, awarded the NYU Stern Faculty Leadership Award, and was named a NYU Stern Faculty Scholar in recognition of his outstanding teaching and dedication to student mentorship. He was named a “Favorite Business School Professor” in Poets and Quants and has been described in The Wall Street Journal as an educator who provides “brilliant distilled advice on business strategy.”

In addition to being a leading educator, Robert is also an award-winning management researcher. In 2019, the Academy of International Business awarded him the Silver Medal for exceptional intellectual contributions to the field of international business. He received the Emerald Citations of Excellence Award in 2015. He won the 2006 IABS Best Article Award, the 2003 Haynes Best Paper Prize, the 2003 William H. Newman Award, and the 2002 Barry M. Richman Prize. He was nominated for the Richard N. Farmer Award; was a finalist for the Gunnar Hedlund Medal; and was runner-up in the 2001 INFORMS Dissertation Competition. His research articles have been nominated four times for Best Paper at the Academy of Management meetings. Members of the International Division of the Academy of Management recognized him as a “Thought Leader” in 2013, and again in 2019.

Daniel started his career at a creative agency, where he worked with residential real estate developers and commercial real estate clients. He is a cofounder of GlobeSt.com and Real Estate Southern California Magazine and formerly led the Real Estate Media Group at ALM.

Max d’Ambrumenil

Max d’Ambrumenil is President of International leading Ferguson Partners outside of the USA and overseeing our offices in London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore and Sydney. He has worked in Asia for over 15 years and managed numerous appointments in real estate, infrastructure, private equity, and credit across APAC. His clients include public and private investment managers, lenders, developers, operating partners and advisors.

Max joined Ferguson Partners to establish the firm’s Hong Kong office before being appointed to lead the APAC business before expanding his role to oversee EMEA and APAC. Prior to Ferguson Partners, he led the Asia investment and funds management practice for a real estate-focused recruitment business. He launched his search career in London, where he specialized in real estate. Earlier, he built and sold an online retail business and was a founding trustee of the Mark Evison Foundation.

Max holds a Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Real Estate from Oxford Brookes University. Outside of work, he is a keen skier (snow and water) and has been a Newcastle United fan/optimist for 30 years.

Robert E. Hart

Real estate investment industry veteran Robert E. Hart founded TruAmerica in 2013 and serves as its President and CEO. Under Mr. Hart’s leadership, TruAmerica has become one of the most active multifamily investors in the United States. Mr. Hart is responsible for the national expansion of the firm’s value-add investment platform. Thanks to his leadership, TruAmerica has grown to become a Top 25 apartment owner in the United States according to the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC). As CEO, Mr. Hart also chairs TruAmerica’s Investment Committee.

With a career that spans nearly four decades, Mr. Hart is a recognized leader in the multifamily industry where he contributes his time and energy as a board member to a variety of industry organizations including the NMHC and the Urban Land Institute. Named one of the most influential business leaders in Los  Angeles by the Los Angeles Business Journal and Los Angeles Times, he was also recently recognized by Real Estate Forum as the “Best of the Best Bosses” in the real  estate industry.

Prior to founding TruAmerica, Mr. Hart earned industry accolades as the chief executive of Kennedy Wilson’s multifamily platform, which Mr. Hart envisioned and launched in 2000. During Mr. Hart’s 13-year tenure, Kennedy Wilson acquired more than 20,000 apartment units with a total transaction value of more than $4.5 billion.

Previously, Mr. Hart was senior vice president of portfolio management for Heitman Capital Management where he engineered the turnaround and disposition of a $500 million property portfolio. Previously, he served as Director of Real Estate Marketing for Executive Life Insurance Company, where he was responsible for the orderly liquidation of more than $1 billion in real estate assets and securities.

Understanding the value of giving back, Hart donates generously to a wide variety of charitable and academic organizations, raising tens of millions of dollars to better the lives of others in his community. For nearly 16 years, Mr. Hart has been a member of the board of directors of Chrysalis, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating employment opportunities for homeless and low-income individuals. Recognized for his professional and philanthropic contributions, Mr. Hart received the Spirit of Life Award from the City of Hope in 2017. He also received the Humanitarian Leadership Award from the Alumni Association of his alma mater Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Mr. Hart is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Marlborough School in Los Angeles and a member of the Board of Governors of the City of Hope. Mr. Hart has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, National Public Radio, Bloomberg TV, The Los Angeles Times and other industry and trade media outlets for his insights into the real estate markets.

Mr. Hart holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts and serves on the Board of Trustees.  He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles and where he serves on the leadership board for UCLA’s Ziman Center for Real Estate.

Othmane Jabri

Othmane Jabri joined the Investment Corporation of Dubai (Dubai’s Sovereign Wealth Fund) in 2020, where he oversees the implementation of ICD’s global investment and divestment strategy in the real estate and hospitality sectors. His responsibilities include lead generation, due diligence, and managing the transaction process for both investments and divestments. Before joining ICD, Othmane spent nine years at Kingdom Hotel Investments, where he executed the disposal strategy for upscale, upper-upscale, and luxury assets across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the Indian Ocean. 

Earlier in his career, he was part of JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group, advising private, public, and institutional clients on a wide range of real estate and hospitality service lines. Fethi Kirdar

Brian Klinksiek

Brian Klinksiek is LaSalle’s Global Head of Research and Strategy and is responsible for the firm’s strategic outlook. Sarah Quinn

Sarah Quinn is Co-Founder and Vice President of Connect Commercial Real Estate. Sarah brings over a decade of experience in commercial real estate media and agency roles, working with institutional and entrepreneurial clients in investment, development, finance and professional services across the property types. She works with the Connect leadership team to shape the strategic direction of the company, revenue and operations. Sarah leads the expansion of Connect CRE into Canada.

Prior to Connect, Sarah was a marketing director for a CRE technology company and started her career at the Real Estate Media Group at American Lawyer Media. Neel Chandru Raheja

Neel began his odyssey with the family empire at the young age of 18. With a strong background in finance, a degree in Law from the Mumbai University, and an alumnus of the Harvard Business School, Boston, Massachusetts (OPM Program).

With a larger vision for the Company, Neel, has piloted the diversification of the Group and is known for his business acumen, and tremendous understanding of the ecosystem in both, global and local markets. With an ear to the ground and ability to pre-empt current and possible future trends, policies, practices, he has been at the fore-front of driving change and innovation within the Group. Naqash Tahir

Naqash is the executive director of Research & Development and Investments at RealAssetX, an innovation lab powered by PGIM Real Estate. Based in London, he leads RealAssetXwhich is dedicated to revolutionizing the real assets sector, in partnership with leading universities and venture capital firms. This initiative aims to invest in and deliver modern technologies across the industry, marking a significant step towards the digital transformation of real assets management.

In addition to his efforts in innovation, Naqash is deeply involved in developing strategic partnerships with venture capital firms. He has been a significant contributor to the PropTech program in Europe and is a member of AREF’s Technology working group. He chairs INREV’s technology committee. He is also a tech and start-up advisor and mentor, speaking at technology events around Europe and the Middle East.

Antonios Vouloudis is the Senior Director of Sustainability and Stewardship at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), where he leads the strategic development and implementation of the university’s Climate Action Plan. His role is central to driving NYUAD’s sustainability vision by establishing measurable targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and enhancing environmental stewardship across the institution.

Before joining NYUAD, Antonios held prominent positions within the Abu Dhabi government, including Senior Project Manager for the “For Abu Dhabi” initiative, part of the Ghadan 21 program at the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT). His career also includes senior roles with Estidama, Abu Dhabi’s pioneering sustainability initiative, and as a Sustainability/Energy Management Engineer for Sheikh Khalifa Medical City and other significant projects.

Antonios holds a Master of Science in Renewable Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Surrey, UK, and a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Democritus University of Thrace, Greece.
