Shanghai 

The first global residency in Spring 2027 takes you to Shanghai, one of the world’s fastest-growing and most influential business centers. At the start of your second semester, you will:

• Take two core courses: Professional Responsibility and Statistics and Data Analysis.
• Revisit your Stern Signature Project, which you started at the beginning of the program.
• Immerse yourself in the city’s unique blend of tradition and modernity, from its historic waterfront Bund to its cutting-edge tech hubs.

You’ll gain first-hand insights into China’s role in the global economy, meet local business leaders, and understand the cultural context behind one of the most dynamic markets in the world.

New York City

Your Executive MBA journey in Year 2 begins where it all started for NYU Stern, in the heart of New York City. During this action-packed week, you will:

• Complete Stern’s signature “Doing Business In: New York” module, giving you insider knowledge on operating in this global business epicenter.
• Dive straight into academics with two elective courses taught by world-class Stern faculty, giving you a strong foundation for your specialization of choice.
• Experience the city as your classroom, with opportunities to explore the finance, innovation, and cultural capital of the world’s most vibrant business hub.

In New York, you will be part of a truly global network, engaging with Stern’s New York faculty, alumni, and resources while taking in the city’s high-energy environment.
