Applying Your Learning in the Real World

The Stern at NYUAD Executive MBA is not just about absorbing knowledge, it’s about putting it to work. Our Signature Project course is an immersive, high-impact experience designed to challenge your thinking, stretch your leadership skills, and deliver real-world results.

The Stern Signature Project

The Stern Signature Project is a comprehensive real-world exercise, carried out over the entire period of the EMBA program. It bridges executive theory and real-world practice. Working in diverse teams of 4-6, students tackle complex strategic challenges, leveraging their collective experience, as well as skills and knowledge acquired during their EMBA studies to develop actionable solutions for an interconnected business world. Each team addresses a complex strategic challenge by either tackling an internal corporate initiative of critical importance to a selected organization or by developing a business idea for creating a new venture. Throughout the process, students receive guidance on project scope, methodology, and workflow from a dedicated faculty advisor, alongside support from external advisors and the experiential learning team.

The Gulf region is one of the fastest-evolving economic landscapes on the planet. This project immerses you in its opportunities and challenges, combining market analysis, cultural insight, and direct engagement with regional leaders. You’ll learn what it takes to navigate the unique dynamics of the UAE and the wider Gulf, and how to position yourself and your organization for success in this vibrant region.

The Signature Project is a distinctive experience within the Executive MBA journey, integrating everything you’ve learned in the program and preparing you to make bold, informed decisions on a global stage.
