Career Services and Resources

As a Stern at NYUAD, you will be provided with the support and guidance of a dedicated Careers office during the program, and beyond.

The Careers Management Center (CMC) will provide MBA students with resources to explore career options, leadership development, and advise on the path for a successful search including self-assessment, job search steps, decision making on opportunities and preparing for effective onboarding. They will also guide students in writing resumes and cover letters, interviewing techniques and preparation, and spearheading job search for targeted positions. For EMBA students, the CMC will provide consultancy on ways that students can grow their careers, develop their leadership style, and expand their network in the UAE and abroad.

The Stern at NYUAD CMC team will provide you with dedicated, innovative career support services tailored to the specific needs of students. Based on the long-standing career success of NYU Stern’s programs, and built upon the relationships that exist between the NYU Abu Dhabi Career Development Center, career support services have been designed with best practices in mind along with close connections to corporate support locally.

In addition to our robust offering of career services, students will complete Experiential Internship courses that will support in learning about different industries and functions. In these internship courses, students will work on projects with local companies. These internship courses will be skills-based and offer you the unique opportunity to work on real world projects and challenges that local companies are facing. Through these internship courses, you will have the necessary skills to immediately add value to future employers upon graduating.

The NYU Abu Dhabi Library also offers a wide variety of career-related books, professional journals, newspapers, and industry information. Students will be able to use computers at the library to access databases and additional online resources for exploring job opportunities.
