Funding Sources

Beyond merit scholarships, most students draw on more than one source to cover tuition and living costs. A few starting points:

Personal and Family Funds
Many students fund their EMBA through personal savings or income.

Company Sponsorship
Many employers co-fund an EMBA in exchange for a return-of-service commitment. Explore whether your employer offers tuition assistance or other professional development support to help fund your studies.

Student Loans
Domestic and international private loan options are available. If you bank in the UAE, many banks offer educational loans. NYU does not prefer, recommend, or endorse any lender, and loan programs are subject to change at any time.

External Scholarships
Explore scholarships, grants, and government funding schemes for which you may be eligible, alongside Stern at NYUAD’s merit-based scholarships.

EducationUSA
International students can also reach EducationUSA, a U.S. Department of State network of more than 430 advising centers across 175+ countries, for independent financial guidance.

Preparing a Budget

When preparing a budget, it’s useful to consider both expense amounts (how much to pay) and timing (when to pay). Contact the Stern at NYUAD Executive MBA Admissions team at emba.admissions@sternad.nyu.edu if you’d like help building your own budget.

NYU Payment Plan

Students can request a payment plan from the bursar’s office to spread each semester’s balance over three installments.
