Whether you’re landing your first post-MBA role or leading an organization a decade from now, you’ll always have a team in your corner. Your career doesn’t stop at graduation, and neither does our support.

At the Career Management Center (CMC), our students get lifelong support and access to a global network of over 130,000 NYU Stern Alumni. The CMC offers dedicated, personalized support to help you navigate your MBA career development journey during the program and beyond. From your first weeks on the program, a team of experienced career professionals works with you to explore your options, sharpen your goals, and prepare for a confident job search, through one-on-one coaching, skill-building workshops, and direct access to industry insight.

As your career evolves, whether you are advancing within your current organization, pivoting into a new sector, or building something of your own, the CMC remains a resource you can return to. What sets our support apart is where it is built: the CMC works closely with businesses and government bodies across the UAE and wider MENA region, bringing you real opportunities and relationships that matter here, not generic career advice built for a different market.

These relationships are already delivering results. Within three months of graduation, 85% of our inaugural MBA Class of 2025 seeking employment had accepted job offers with employers including BlackRock, Visa, and the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, with average PPP-adjusted compensation exceeding USD 208,000. We explore these outcomes, and the explorers behind them, in more detail below.

Comprehensive Support, at Each Stage of Your Job Search

Career support at Stern at NYUAD covers every stage of your search, not just the final interview. From individual coaching and advisory sessions to skill-building workshops on resume writing, personal branding, and salary negotiation, the CMC offers you the tools and insights to search with confidence. Mock interviews, in both behavioral and case formats, help you sharpen your delivery before it counts.

Beyond one-on-one support, you will have access to meaningful networking events built specifically for MBA students, including employer information sessions, alumni panels, and industry fireside chats, alongside job postings and recruitment events through our MBA-dedicated online job board. Personal career assessments help you clarify your strengths and preferences along the way, so your search is targeted and focused.

The Career Management Center is very helpful. I had career coaching sessions, and they hosted a lot of skill-building workshops: how to make your CV stand out, how to do well in an interview.

Already Have a Role to Return to?

Not every student is searching for a new employer. Around a fifth of our inaugural class returned to their sponsoring organization after graduation, and the CMC’s support is just as valuable for this group.

Rather than a job search, the focus shifts to leadership development: sharpening your executive presence, building your network across the region, and working with a career coach to plan how you will apply learnings from your MBA within your organization from day one.

Deep Partnerships Across the UAE and MENA Region

Employer engagement is a critical part of what the CMC does. Our dedicated Corporate Relations team builds strong, lasting partnerships with leading organizations across the region, connecting you with industry professionals and recruiters looking for top talent in the UAE, MENA region, and beyond. Through corporate projects, guest presentations, and professional mixers, you gain sector-specific insight and visibility with the employers who matter, across industries including management consulting, financial services, technology, and healthcare.

These partnerships matter all the more because Stern at NYUAD sits at the heart of a region where demand for MBA talent is growing fast. In a survey, more than half of employers in the Middle East expected to expand their hiring of MBA graduates in 2025 compared to 2024 (Corporate Recruiters Survey 2025 Report, GMAC). In another survey, Middle Eastern employers were the most willing to hire international talent compared to any other region (Corporate Recruiters Survey 2026 Report, GMAC). Unlike programs that fly in for a few weeks a year, our relationships with regional businesses and government bodies are built and maintained on the ground, year-round, by a team based here in Abu Dhabi.

Lifelong Career Support

Your access to the CMC does not expire on graduation day. As your career develops, whether you are working toward a promotion, considering a move, or exploring something entirely new, you can return for coaching, take part in alumni career panels, and stay connected to corporate events and opportunities.

You also graduate into NYU Stern’s global alumni network of over 130,000 professionals, a resource that continues to open doors for as long as you use it.
